Fitting into the site programme
The engineering and supply of the steel structure form part of the overall project programme. From project launch, we identify with your teams the key milestones within our scope: receipt of technical data, approval of the assumptions and drawings, release to manufacturing and the planned delivery date. This allows the required information to be anticipated and any risk to the programme to be flagged early.
Coordinating technical interfaces
Foundations, openings, equipment, loading bays, cladding or connection to an existing building: a steel structure has many interfaces with the other trades. From the data supplied by the parties concerned, our engineering team prepares the drawings and information needed to facilitate technical coordination before release to manufacturing.
Repeat and multi-site projects
You may need to replicate the same solution for several clients, branches or sites. We define a shared technical baseline with you, then adapt it to the climatic, regulatory and operational constraints of each site, with a dedicated team providing centralised coordination of your projects.
Every project undergoes a full technical study. Our in-house engineering team designs the structure to the applicable Eurocodes, allowing for wind and snow loads and, where required, site-specific seismic actions. Clear heights, openings and interfaces with the loading bays and equipment are all accounted for, based on the technical data approved by the customer.
Design assumptions and drawings are approved before manufacturing begins, so that the structure as delivered matches the approved design. The relevant components are manufactured in accordance with the applicable CE marking requirements.
